Status & Verification Legend (canonical)¶
Referenced by every document. Defined once here.
Maturity (capability state)¶
- 🟢 Production — running and depended on today
- 🔵 Working Prototype — demonstrated end-to-end; not production-hardened
- 🟡 In Development — actively being built; partial
- ⚪ Planned — designed, not started
- 🔬 Research — spec/idea phase; unproven
Verification (claim confidence)¶
- Verified — proven from a primary source (doc, code, signed receipt)
- Observed — seen in a tool output or run this cycle
- Derived — logically follows from verified facts
- Assumed — working assumption, not yet checked
- Planned — target state, not real yet
Terminal states (task / change completion)¶
Every task or change set reports exactly one terminal state:
- COMPLETE — implemented, validated, merged.
- PENDING REVIEW — implemented, validated, pushed, mergeable; awaiting human review or approval only. A green, mergeable draft MR is PENDING REVIEW, not blocked.
- BLOCKED — cannot proceed: failed validation, missing dependency, missing credentials, policy restriction, or an unresolved design decision. Report with evidence.
Analysis, documentation, plans, or backlogs alone never constitute COMPLETE.
