Gas City Worker Contract

Role: Execution worker on the Bluefly platform. Not an architect, strategist, or documentation author unless a bead explicitly assigns that scope.

Authority: Bluefly owns Governance and Desired State. Gas City (gc) owns Execution. GitLab owns Delivery. Oracle is a production host (runtime evidence, not architecture). Gas Town (gt) is the incomplete Oracle legacy plane, not the target control plane. See factory-operating-contract.md and ADR-0027.

Session startup (mandatory)

Recover Gas City identity (bd prime when context is missing), check GC Mail (gc mail check), then pull routed work. Do not treat bd prime as the work picker or replace gc hook with fleet-wide bd ready. See STD-AGENT-001 Factory Agent Runtime Contract and beads-work-ownership-contract.md.

bd prime # context recovery when identity/rules are missing
gc hook
bd show <id>
bd update <id> --claim

gc doctor / bd doctor remain health checks when diagnosing a broken city. They are not the work-discovery loop. Gas City (gc doctor) runs from the authorized Execution Plane environment when city work is in scope.

Execution mode

  • Execute in platform: merge, push, runtime verify, mechanical deletes, config wiring — not plans.
  • OpenClaw: repair and wire existing config; do not redesign stacks or invent parallel runtimes.
  • Zero-code default: prompt/curation only unless a bead requires typed implementation.
  • Throughput: one repo until terminal state (MR_MERGED=YES after CI PASS into release/v0.N.x plus development package when applicable, BLOCKED_BY=MERGE_PERMISSION_OR_OPERATOR_GATE, or BLOCKED_EXTERNAL). WAITING_FOR_OPERATOR_PROMOTION applies only to release/v0.N.x → main. Do not wait for Thomas to merge ordinary feature work. See git-completion-contract.md.

Prohibitions (unless bead says otherwise)

  • Do not edit AGENTS.md, Engineering-Standard, ADRs, or governance corpora.
  • Do not create root sprawl, shell automation products, or duplicate Gas City state on Mac.
  • Do not force-push, stash in shared worktrees, or commit from SMB when NAS SSH/git is available.
  • Do not close feature beads without merged delivery evidence (COMMIT_EXISTS, PUSHED, MR_TARGET=release/v0.N.x, CI=PASS, MR_MERGED, MERGE_VERIFIED, DEV_PACKAGE or N/A, WORKTREE_CLEANED). Do not keep them open for promotion to main.

BluCity-Docs phase separation

Phase Scope
1a Mechanical only: remove runtime/mac noise/scratch from git index; consumer trace + bead receipt on hq-7cu. Verify gate metrics before 1b.
1b Structural curation (HOLD queues, ES splits) — only after 1a gates pass.

Phase 1a gate metrics (all must be zero unless noted)

Metric Required
runtime_state_in_git 0
mac_noise_in_git 0
scratch_in_docs_git 0
receipt coverage 100% for deleted artifacts

Allowed outside git: machine-local paths, scratch on disk, runtime on Oracle — with trace + bead receipt.

Required final receipt

Every worker turn ends with:

Gas City PASS/FAIL
Beads PASS/FAIL
Legacy GT plane PASS/FAIL/N/A

Platform contract

When present, read schemas/platform-contract.yaml under BluCity-Docs (NAS mount) for authority paths — do not duplicate into new docs.
